Kenneth Anthony Spence serves the Church of Christ as an Evangelist, Christian Life Coach & Counselor, Worship Leader, and mentor to young men and women. Since September 1, 2015, he has pastored the Camden Church of Christ. He was officially installed as Senior Minister of the Camden Church in December 2015.
He is known for three things: A love for the Lord, a love for the family of God, and a personal desire to get closer to Him while helping others to do the same. Kenneth was first baptized into Christ at the 63rd & Vine Street Church of Christ (Now, Overbrook Park) at the age of 12 on April 9, 1995. One year later, he preached his first sermon.
Kenneth is supported by his loving wife, Dominique. Together they focus on helping each other grow in Christ, being a great example of ‘good ole Christian married folk’. They have reached multitudes of Christians emphasizing that the Church is not just a group of people but real family in Christ. In July 2016, they welcome their first child, Nathaniel into the world.
Kenneth holds a BS in Business Administration, Small Business Leadership/Entrepreneurship concentration from DeVry University. He is a matriculating Bachelor of Biblical Studies Candidate of the Northeast Baltimore Bible Institute & College (NBBIC). He is also a matriculating Pastoral Counseling Candidate of the Manifold Christian Counseling Ministry & Training Center (MCCM).
At the Overbrook Park Church of Christ (formerly 63rd & Vine), Kenneth served as Audio Director, Educational Director, Worship Coordinator, Bible Study Teacher, and Minister of Music (Lead Song Leader). He previously served as the Interim Minister for the Valley Road Church of Christ in Warrington, PA in 2013 helping them to stabilize and grow attendance & membership.
He is a constantly sought after Evangelist at many congregations across the Mid-Atlantic speaking and preaching for Gospel Revivals, Lectureships, Congregational Song Workshops, Song Leader Workshops, Youth Weekends & Conferences, and Young Adult Events.
At the moment, Kenneth works as a Professional Christian Life Coach and Counselor helping the Family of God grow into the purpose that God has developed for them. He has a strong desire for the improvement and the development of young men spiritually. His goal is for the Church of Christ in the Mid-Atlantic Region is to baptize and disciple 2.8 million people by 2024.
