OUR MISSION

 

HELPING. DEVELOPING. TRANSFORMING.

Our mission at the Camden Church of Christ is to emulate the life of Jesus Christ as a church body.  We seek to provide service, teaching, and examples of Christ to the Camden community that would result in discipleship and transformation. We also aspire to impact the entire city of Camden, spreading the goodness of God and the riches gained from living a life that mirrors the character of Christ.

 

We seek to do this in three basic ways:

 

1. Helping – Helping people who do not have a relationship with God cultivate one, first through obedience to His Word, and second, through ongoing studying and application.

2. Developing – Fostering an atmosphere of growth in Christ.  This is a blessing in two ways:

   1. Personal growth: Truly living the life God would have us lead.

   2. Spiritual growth: Living in our God-given purpose everyday and in every way.

3. Transforming – Changing the world around us for the better through living in Christ and helping & developing others
   
    

OUR COMMITMENT

As the Body of Christ, we are committed to reaching the world with the Gospel. We will strive to be successful in our quest to be good ambassadors for Christ. Our primary mission is to be servants to those in need and to introduce the gospel to the world, without addition, subtraction, or substitution.
